Dr. Brian Burrough is a board-certified anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine and a founding partner of Florida Spine Associates. He is widely recognized for his expertise in interventional pain management and minimally invasive spine procedures, with a focus on restoring function and enhancing quality of life.

Medical Education
Before attending medical school, Dr. Burrough earned a master’s degree in physical therapy and served as an outpatient rehabilitation director in South Florida, an experience that shaped his multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach to care. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Miami, followed by an anesthesiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami.
Dr. Burrough then completed fellowship training as a Clinical Fellow in Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, where he pursued an Interventional Pain Management Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. There, he received advanced training in epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty, and other image-guided procedures.
